Oasis Mango Country Villas in Tenerife 1 and 2 bedrooms, all with ocean views, with communal pool, set in 2,000 metres of vineyard, tropical gardens and fruit trees, all 23 minutes from tenerife south airport.    Oasis Mango ¨a true oasis set amidst the barren landscape of the south east coast¨.    At only 100 metres above sea level,  on flat level ground, protected by two mountains in an area called ¨the little oven¨,  ¨el hornito¨, because of its location and superb climate.  The villas are just above the large cosmpolitan town of Candelaria, with its large plaza and church which houses the black madonna, the patron saint of the Canary Islands.  Just above the plaza behind the church lies the old village on the hillside.  The newer part of town with endless bars and restaurants along the promenade.   There are also restaurants in the mountains minutes from the villas.

CAR HIRE airport meet and greet, no need to travel to another office to pick up car, our cars are parked in the airport car park, 160 euros per week or 290 euros for 2 weeks, 395 for 3 weeks or 495 euros for one month, FULLY COMPREHENSIVE,  ALL RISKS,  Citroen C3, 5 door, air conditioning, no security deposit. Local reliable company.   Check before you book with other companies, most are third party and many only have offices for return and collection outside the airport.

TENERIFE VINEYARD HOLIDAY VILLAS

The villas are well furnished, with kitchen with full oven, microwave, ceramic hob, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, and every utensil you couLd need.   The lounge has a corner settee, coffee table, television with satellite, 5 film channels, bbc, sky news channels, 7 series channels, discovery, history, cartoons and of course football, golf, tennis etc.  a radio cd player is also provided.   There are ceiling ventilators in all rooms.   Internet connection upon request. 

A shower room, with shower cubicle vanity unit and mirror, toilet.   Towels and beach towels are provided.  All bedrooms are decorated in a similar style.

The two bedroom villa has a large terrace of 40 metres facing the ocean and vineyard, the one bedroom villa apartments has two terraces of 15 metres, one facing the vineyard and ocean and the other facing inland to the orange trees.  The one bedroom can also be used as a two bedroom, as it has an extension into a large second bedroom.  The owners of the finca have paid a great deal of attention to achieving privacy for their guests.

Price for a one bedroom is 320 pounds year round, two bedroom is 370 pounds year round  special offers are made in low season, september, may and june, or last minute offers, however we do not have many last minute vacancies, as most people reserve 2 months in advance.    Long term 50 pounds reduction on year round price..  Xmas New Year 15% increase.  Long term holiday are extremely popular in the winter, book early to avoid disappointment, most people start reserving long term holidays in August September.

Candelaria is large cosmopolitan town,the new part of the town with a shopping centre housing about 30 shops and a large supermarket.   The large plaza outside the shopping centre has open air cafe's, with music in the evenings in the summer months.   A new promenade with endless bars and restaurants facing the ocean. 

Tenerife Carnival week, the dates can be checked out online, but normally in February or March.    Open air dances friday and saturday nights in Santa Cruz.   A grand parade to equal the Mardi Gra in New Orleans or the Brazilian Carnival.

There are local restaurants in the mountains near the villas, also a local supermarket and bakers.

Los Brezos BBQ area, just 15 minute drive from the houses, take the steep hill to the top and enjoy a local bbq under the pine trees, there is also a children's play area.    The area has wooden tables and chairs so just take your food with you.

The driving instructions for Los Brezos is in the information sheet which you will receive when making the reservation.

The mountains of Las Mercedes, check your local map.  

La Oratava or La Laguna, beautiful historic buildings and cobbled streets.    

You can take a tram from Santa Cruz, to the end of the line in La Laguna, walk straight ahead and find the beautiful historic buildings and plenty of shops.  

Medano beach, a large sandy windsurfing beach with great atmosphere.

Las Teresitas beach, a long white sandy beach, with breakwater for safe bathing.    Plenty of parking.

Puerto de la Cruz, about 50 minutes away, the 1st tourist centre of the island, but great to visit in the evening, with its large plaza with a good atmosphere, and a walk along the promenade with local street traders.   There is a large lido area housing several very large swimming pools, a small entrance fee is applicable.   This is the cooler side of the island, so take a jacket or cardigan for the evening.

Santa Cruz, our beautiful harbour city, fronted by a very large plaza with lake and seating area.    Open air cafe's, walk up the hill to find endless shops.    At the top of the hill there is a small park with more cafe's.  There is also a small tourist train that runs from the plaza area, it will take you to all the major sites in Santa Cruz.

Santa Cruz sunday morning market, from 9 am till 2 pm.   Get up early to see everything. Near the open air market SENORA DE AFRICA.    *get a map of Santa Cruz from the tourist centre just above the plaza, a small wooden building.

Fabulous Mount Teide, a beautiful journey up through the pine trees, with BBQ areas on the way up, ever changing scenery.  Take the cable car to the top, but if you want to make the final climb to the summit you will need to purchase a pass from Santa Cruz.    Details online. 

Puertito de Guimar, 10 minutes away, a large black sandy beach, with a harbour and fish restaurants.
